Summary:
Accomplished artist / educator with background that combines professional art career with skills to design and implement an array of art programs for groups / individuals of all ages and abilities, covering a wide range of media.
Artist - Creates art, prepares for exhibitions and competitions, and executes commissions. Current efforts include: pastel landscapes inspired by Northwest coasts, forests and rural settings rendered in rich colors; highly detailed graphite / colored pencil works of objects that represent American culture; charcoal drawings of a variety of subjects.
Educator - Develops programs that build participant’s self-esteem, expand imaginations, encourage growth, foster personal views and work styles. Motivate students through personal interaction. Imparts skills that give students tools needed to achieve their goals.
